Florida’s only Egyptian gallery is now open. The gallery offers a
unique opportunity to learn about one of the world’s oldest and most
mysterious civilizations from its surviving objects, including an
Egyptian sarcophagus and mummy. The gallery showcases sixteen objects of
Egyptian antiquity including gifts to the museum collection and
long-term loans from the Brooklyn Museum, Lowe Art Museum and private
collections.
