Kontrol presents Lee Foss at Mansion - 6/28/12

Few DJs have made such a dramatic impact on the underground house and techno scene over the last two years as Hot Creations label owner Lee Foss. Described by DJ Mag as “one of the most talented new forces in modern dance music today” and by fellow future house innovators Art Department as their favourite producer, Lee has quickly catapulted himself into dance music’s collective consciousness. Lee and his Hot Natured partner Jamie Jones currently spearhead a whole family of like-minded producers who are currently re-writing the rulebook of how to make evocative and emotive house music. Join us as Kontrol presents Lee Foss along with special guests to be announced at Mansion Nightclub in Miami Beach.

Knife Party at Mansion- June 1, 2012

Knife Party is a side project featuring the two founding members of Perth, Australia's long-running act Pendulum. In late 2011, Gareth McGrillen and Rob Swire debuted their aggressive electro-house/dubstep guise with 100% No Modern Talking and provided as a free download on the duo's website. They also matched up with Swedish House Mafia for the Virgin-issued "Antidote," billed as Swedish House Mafia vs. Knife Party. Remixes of tracks by Swedish House Mafia ("Save the World"), Porter Robinson ("Unison"), and Nero ("Crush on You") trickled out around the same time. John Dahlback at Mansion- April 28th

John Dahlback is further testament to the theory that when it comes to overly talented musical homelands, there could indeed be something in Sweden’s water. Born in 1985 in a small village near Stockholm, he landed his first record deal aged just 15 while most of his peers were just discovering clubs. Just a few years later he was already the proud owner of a worldwide respected label, had a string of well-known productions to his name and a reputation for quietly turning out some of the best house melodies you could hope to hear. Nadia Ali has continually proven her value with a growing list of global hits and chart-toppers that has expanded progressively over the years. These include: “Rapture”, “At The End”, “Kiss You”, and a #1 US Billboard Dance Chart hit with “Is It Love.” Nadia’s solo album “Embers” and “Fantasy” soon followed, serving as a prologue to “Queen of Clubs Trilogy: Best of Nadia Ali Remixed”. In 2010, Nadia was nominated for Best Progressive/Tech House Track for “Love Story” at the International Dance Music Awards at the Winter Music Conference. She then neatly closed out the year 2010 with a Grammy nomination for her song “Fantasy”, under the “Best Re-mixed Recording” category. While Nadia has cultivated a score of industry accolades, 2010 marked the first occasion in which her work would receive the great honor and validation of a Grammy Nomination. If we are to learn anything from the pattern developing here, it could quite possibly be that Nadia Ali simply possesses both the clever intellect and raw talent required to amass this kind of staying power… and that this past decade has only been the beginning. Join us as Mansion360 presents John Dahlback and Nadia Ali at Mansion Nightclub in Miami Beach.

DJ M.O.S. at LIV- April 27th

Behrouz at Mansion-April 26, 2012

San Francisco native and Miami transplant Behrouz has brought his world famous Pure Behrouz party to audiences on all continents since the early parts of the ‘00s. Its concept started with the host performing solo all night, taking audiences on a multi hour musical journey. With this format Behrouz was able to span the entire spectrum of dance music, from deep house to techno; making audiences forget they are witnessing the performance of a single DJ. Join us as Kontrol presents Behrouz at Mansion Nightclub in Miami Beach.
