Join the Annual Florida Hemophilia Association (FHA) Walk in the Jungle now in its third year and one of the largest Hemophilia/Bleeding Disorder’s walk in the country. Watch the video of our 2012 event on on site:
http://floridahemophilia.org/video-gallery/ . In 2012, the FHA Walk attracted over 800 participants and raised close to $100,000. The funds raised helped the Florida Hemophilia Association to address the needs of people affected by bleeding disorders in the entire state of Florida.
Much more than just a fundraising event, the Florida Hemophilia Association Walk in the Jungle brings together individuals affected by bleeding disorders, their families, friends, supporters and a diverse range of others who want to enjoy an amazing day at Jungle Island while helping a worthy cause. It attracts people of every age and background from parents with infants in tow to grandparents and everything in between!
There are two routes through the park to suit all walkers; a shorter 1. 5 mile route or twice around, if you’re so inclined. After the walk, everyone who is a registered walk donor gets to spend the entire day at Jungle Island for free! The Walk features food and refreshments, entertainment, exhibits and souvenir t-shirts for the kids. Community members and friends organize Walk Teams who hold special events throughout the year, raise funds and then will proudly wear their colorful team shirts as they walk together in May! There’s friendly competition as some teams strive to raise the most funds or bring the most walkers. Most importantly, everyone shows up on Walk day to share experiences, enjoy each other’s company and just have fun!
The Florida Hemophilia Association (FHA) is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life in the bleeding disorders community by creating programs and services that provide education, emotional support and advocacy. We are contributing toward research to ultimately find a cure.

fundraiser inspired by part of New Theatre's mission of producing "new
works that speak to and about a diverse contemporary audience." This
year's Miami 1-Acts Festival includes 16 nationally and locally
recognized playwrights and artists. Tickets for the Miami One-Acts
