Earth Day at Fairchild Botanical Gardens- April 22, 2013

Come Celebrate Earth Day at Fairchild with a special $7.50 admission price in honor of our 75th anniversary. Enjoy complimentary tram tours every half hour beginning at 10 a.m. with the last tram at 3:30 p.m. There will also be special “History of the Garden” tram tours at 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. The Garden is open from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

When: Monday, April 22, 2013 from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM

Earth Day - Party for the Planet- April 20-21, 2013

The Tropical Flowering Tree Society will be hosting its annual plant show and sale. There will also be fun green activities and entertainment for the entire family as well as animal enrichment with recycled items and/or natural materials like newspapers, cardboard tubes, bamboo, old tires, fire hoses, and more. 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

Earth Day Celebration- April 22, 2012

Celebrate all things green at The Barnacle. Booths will feature green businesses and local environmental groups. There will be environmental activities for the kids. Bring your own picnic, or buy burgers, hot dogs, and veggie dogs here. Acoustic music will be provided by Florida Historian-in-Song Grant Livingston between noon and 3 p.m.

MiChiMu's Green Team Earth Day Extravaganza- April 22, 2012

Join MiChiMu's GreenTeam for a spectacular Earth Day Celebration. Find out what it means to be "green." Through games and crafts learn about clean energy, recycling, and conservation. Discover things you can do at home to protect our planet. Miami-Dade County residents will be able to exchange three old light bulbs for energy saving compact fluorescent light bulbs and exchange up to two water-wasting showerheads for water-efficient models. Exchange table will be open at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Supplies are limited and exchanges will be done on a first come, first serve basis. Museum admission: $15.
Florida Resident $12.
Children under 12 months free.

Zoo Miami's Earth Day celebration Party for the Planet will be held on April 21 and 22. Pine Crest Earth Day Festival- April 15

Celebrate the beauty of our planet at the Pinecrest Earth Day Festival. Enjoy a fun-filled day of activities including wildlife shows and presentations, green vendor booths, a green fashion show hosted by Miss Earth Florida 2011, informative green and eco-friendly workshops presented by the CLEO Institute, garden tours, fabulous food and one of the best farmer's markets in town.
