Artisan Food Fest- November 17

Market Season has begun! The Museum presents our monthly Artisan Food Fest featuring over 30 vendors selling handcrafted items from granola to jams to sustainably grown greens to sausages and everything in between! The Fest, which moves outside to the Museum Plaza this month is a veritable foodie heaven. Free admission - donations are appreciated!

Bloomsday Celebration- June 16

The Bloomsday Celebration begins at 6 p.m. in The Coral Gables Museum, 285 Aragon Avenue, Coral Gables where we will be treated to dramatic readings of excerpts from Ulysses by actors from the Actors' Playhouse. After the readings, there will be a short odyssey with flags, led by a kilted bagpiper around the block to John Martin's Restaurant where we shall celebrate in earnest. A special Bloomsday menu and special prices will be offered.

Tunnel Vision: The Port of Miami Tunnel Project- until June 3, 2012

One of Miami's greatest public works projects ever is happening right now, right under our feet. The Miami Access Tunnel (MAT) Concessionaire, together with the Coral Gables Museum is going to shed a little light on the subterranean project. At this month-long exhibit, visitors learn the process of building a tunnel from start to finish, as well as the project timeline, see a working model of the machine that is working day and night to create a new access to Port Miami, and much more. Jazz in the Gables- March 7th

The Coral Gables Museum, in partnership with the City of Coral Gables, Coral Gables Business Improvement District and the Miami Jazz Cooperative presents free lunchtime jazz concert in the Gables every Wednesday through April 27. United Way Wine & Food Festival December 7th

The United Way Miami Wine & Food Festival will host a Riedel Wine Glass Seminar and Reception as part of the year-round series of wine and food events the festival launched this past June. Celebrity guest and CEO of Riedel Crystal of North America, Maximilian Josef Riedel, will demonstrate that the right wine glass does make a difference in the aroma, taste and perception of a wine.
