Miami presents the holiday classic Amahl and the Night Visitors (Amahl y
los reyes magos) by Gian Carlo Menotti. This beautiful opera combines
gorgeous vocal lines and lush symphonic accompaniment with a simple,
touching story which reminds us about the true meaning of Christmas. The
story focuses on a young crippled boy, Amahl, and his mother, who
welcome some very unexpected visitors into their home- the Three Kings-
who are on their way to bring gifts to the Child. In English and
