Deering Estate Festival of the Arts- February 14-24

A romantic moonlit Valentine’s concert kicks off the Deering Estate Festival of the Arts – a ten-day celebration of literary, visual and performing art at the historic Estate with events and programs from February 14 – 24, 2013. A curated exhibition Speak Now, places artistic interjections throughout the grounds, one-night only art events, classical and chamber ensemble concerts, walk and talk Curator’s tour, and a spectacular closing Red Carpet Wrap-Up are just some of the cultural experiences offered.

Guest can enjoy an "ALL ACCESS PASS” for only $75.  A limited number of ALL ACCESS PASSES are available and can only be purchased ONLINE. Individual event tickets can be purchased online, by phone, or at the event.

The ALL ACCESS PASS includes:

• FREE ADMISSION to the Estate for the month of February;
• Admission to ALL Deering Estate Festival of the Arts events;
• Admission to the Nite Hike on Wednesday, February 13;
• Admission to the "Voices of the Past" Ghost Tour on Thursday, February 21.

BOOK NOOK BY THE BAY - “Field Study Books”

“Field Study Drawing Journal/ Follow in the footsteps of botanists by drawing and taking notes about your discoveries in a handmade accordion book. Participants can make drawings of plant-life and outdoor art installations form the “Speak Now” Exhibition.

In partnership with the Greater Miami Youth Symphony – our Youth Artist in Residence - each season a number of internationally renowned artists in collaboration with our Deering Estate Chamber Ensemble are invited to present master classes at the Deering Estate at Cutler. Master classes give students the opportunity to supplement their studies through interaction with legendary guest performers whose insight and experience exemplify the highest levels of musical achievement. Founding Members of the Deering Estate Chamber Ensemble will lead this master class held in the historic Stone House Ballroom. Please contact the Greater Miami Youth Symphony for student scheduling and the Deering Estate at Cutler for additional information to attend this program.
