Augusto Soledade BrazzDance: Cordel and Kayala- February 8-9, 2013

Cordel - a work inspired by Argentine tango, American hip-hop and Brazil's popular Cordel literature - and Kayala, which is based on the Brazilian folktale "How Night Came from the Sea." Both contemporary works will sizzle on the Arsht Center stage with their sensuous fusion of African rhythms, Brazilian influences and elaborate contemporary movement. Choreographer Augusto Soledade, is a native Brazilian based in Miami.
