"Stories Told Through Music"
Great music often takes us on a journey.  Come be carried away by beautiful arias, a Chausson string quartet, and tales woven in the voices of Schubert, Stravinsky, Shostakovich, John Adams, and more.

Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at 7:00PM
"The Edge: Music that pushed the boundaries of its time"
Many of the great works we now consider to be standards caused riots and scandals in their time.  Revisit the works that propelled music into new territory; from ancient African drumming and early experiments with notation, or the cutting-edge works of Bach and Beethoven, to music that prompts us to examine tonality and the boundaries of different artistic mediums.

Finale, Sunday, January 19, 2014 at 7:00PM
"A Jazzy Night"
The sounds of jazz can be found infiltrating other genres in unexpected ways.  Jazz and Latin musicians join the resident GardenMusic artists for a Miami night of jazz and a nod to composers such as Bela Bartok and Maurice Ravel who were profoundly influenced by the sounds of their time.

Wall Lounge Review (at the W)

It has been described as "intimate, selective, and cool," although some people even with "super hot girlfriends have had problems even getting in-- while STAYING at the W!

The way to get in? Gotta buy bottle= kind of expensive. But, it's definitely worth checking out, full of young, attractive people, and good music.

One other pitfall is the $40 cover, but that's only if you get there early... if not, plan on spending some serious money!
