Louis Bar & Lounge- made by the same creators of Prive and SET and located in the Gansevoort South Hotel. It is easier to get in here than many of the clubs on the beach with nicer bouncers than I've experienced at other clubs. It's a smaller club, and not overwhelming like the Mansion. Girls get in free, but guys have to pay a $25 cash only cover.

Classixx at Louis Bar- March 2

Barely into their twenties, Classixx has begun defining a new sound for the Los Angeles electronic music scene. A refreshing change from the trance and techno inspired Electro that has been dominating dance floors, their Donna Summers-esque grooves have caught the ears of music aficianados, fans and artists alike. With recent remixes for groundbreaking artists such as Phoenix, The Ting Tings, Shiny Toy Guns, and the Sounds, their funky midtempo sound is turning heads everywhere. DJ Craze at Louis Bar- February 18th

On top of his untouchable turntablist skills and scratch champion showmanship, the world has also recognised that Craze is a second to none club DJ he has toured the globe over, from Jamaica to Australia to Japan to Iceland to France to the country he was born, Nicaragua. All DJing aside, Craze is also a world- renowned producer, releasing wildly successful drum'n'bass records with labels such as Cartel Recordings, Breakbeat Kaos, and C.I.A and other hip hop inspired productions with the likes of DMC Records, Ninja Tune Records, OM Records and K7 Records. Join us for My Lips Are Sealed Saturdays as we present DJ Craze with opening set by DJ Konflikt at Louis Bar-Lounge in Miami Beach.

Pirate Stereo at Louis Bar & Lounge- February 10th

Isaac Safdeye and Eyal Agai have been spinning their way to recognition since they met at Berklee College of Music in 2007. They found they had an instant chemistry, both with an eclectic taste for music that soon developed into collaboration. Understanding the fundamentals of music is important to the two, who use their experience playing instruments and training at Berklee as a base for DJing. The boys have recently been dividing their time between Miami and LA where they’ve been carving out a strong following opening up for the likes of Jamie Lidell at the El Rey and most recently, La Roux at Club Nokia. Join us for DownRight Fridays as we present Pirate Stereo with an opening set by Damaged Goods at Louis Bar-Lounge in Miami Beach.
