H.O.T. Challenge Golf Tournament- May 3, 2013

This annual golf tournament at one of Miami's premier golf courses benefits the Black Hospitality Initiative of Greater Miami's (BHI) African-American Scholarship Fund. The BHI is a not-for-profit organization that was established in 1991 by the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau to increase and expand the participation by African Americans in Miami-Dade County's visitor industry. To date, the BHI has awarded 182 scholarships.

Miccosukkee Championship- October 8-14

Venue: Miccosukee Golf & Country Club
Background: Purchased in 2001 by the Miccosukee Tribe of Indians of Florida, the Miccosukee Golf & Country Club has hosted many LPGA and PGA events, including those attended by Jack Nicklaus and Arnold Palmer, among others.
2012 Miccosukee Championship: Takes place over nine days and includes Professional Practice Rounds, The First Tee Kids Clinic sponsored by Coca-Cola, the Miami HEAT Pro-Am, and the PGA Web.com Tour event, previously known as the Nationwide Tour.
