Peter London Global Dance Theater Spring Dance Showcase- May 5

The Peter London Global Dance Theater, in residence at the Little Haiti Cultural Center Theater, under the artistic direction of world renowned dancer/choreographer and founder, Peter London, will present their second dance performance with the Spring Dance Showcase. It will include the talents of Jamar Roberts, a former star artist with the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, former student of Peter London and a native of Miami. Jamar makes his debut performance as one of PLGDT's Artist Associates with two of his newly choreographed works; a solo danced by Mr. Roberts himself, and a company work. A reception will begin at 6 p.m., with the dance performance beginning at 7 p.m.

Pilobolus Dance Theater- March 2-3rd

Renowned the world over for an imaginative mix of humor, invention, and drama, Pilobolus creates a wondrous dance world with each performance. The company incorporates dance, gymnastics, performance art and shadow play. Employing the human body as pure sculptural matter, the dancers link and unlink, twist and tumble, creating an ever-changing series of forms, many evocative of the natural world. 8 p.m.
