Sean Dorsey Dance: The Secret History Of Love- May 12th

Award winning choreographer Dorsey creates visual poems hinging on universal narrative of love, heartbreak and the desire for community. His dances seamlessly stitch together past and present, hope and history, personal intimacy and social context. Secret History is an epic work that chronicles the ways LGBT people have built relationships throughout history, under circumstances when it was required that they remain inconspicuous. The result is a rollicking, stirring treatise on the enduring language of the heart.

Elemental Journey: Air, Land, Water- February 11-12

An original dance creation presented by Josée Garant Dance. The work is an inspiring collaboration of original choreography and contemporary music by internationally respected artists - choreographer Josée Garant and composer Harold Meltzer. As part of a poetic and beautiful evening, the audience will experience a journey through the natural environment of South Florida through movement and music brought together by the world renowned Amernet String Quartet; poetry by Award Winning Mia Leonin, and video by New Media Artist Jacek Kolasinski.
