Miami Children's Museum as Read Across America's official East Coast

will include celebrity readers, performances, appearances by Dr. Seuss

The integration of foreign influence and its contribution to the
development of modern and contemporary Japanese art is the underlying
theme of Adapting and Adopting: Waves of Change as East Encounters West.
The exhibition examines three broad topics in modern and contemporary
Japanese art: Japanese artists living abroad, cross-cultural influences
returning to Japan, and the role of traditional Japanese art. Curated by
University of Miami students, this exhibition is the fourth installment
in the series, ArtLab @ The Lowe, which provides hands-on museum
experience to University of Miami museum studies students, who curate an
exhibition from the conceptual state to the final installation. On

Miami International Film Festival, the premier U.S. showcase for films
from Spain, Portugal and Latin America, presents 100 films from 30
countries during 10 days at venues across the Magic City.
The Junkies style has continued to evolve over the years under the

excellent platform to showcase their music, as well as playing alongside
some of the world’s most respected artists on a regular basis including
the likes of Dubfire, Marco Carola, Paco Osuna and Loco Dice just to
name a few. Join us as Kontrol Thursdays presents The Junkies at Mansion
Nightclub in Miami Beach.

characteristic Latin flavor of the North Beach area to welcome the Miami
Beach Food Truck and Music Fest on the 4th Wednesday night of each
month until September 2013!

will be offering varied menus from burgers to healthy bites and ethnic
dishes.
