Independence Day Celebration & Hot Dog Eating Competition at CocoWalk- July 4

Guaranteed 4th of July fun at CocoWalk just got hotter with the addition of Beer Pong; Kids Pong; Steel Pan music, balloon twister and face painter in the afternoon; and night time Classic Rock from South Florida's own Deck 52 Band! The popular 4th annual Independence Hot Dog Eating Competition will take place in the Courtyard at 5 p.m., sponsored by Paragon Grove 13. Beer Pong begins at 6 p.m., sponsored by Bice Bistro, and Kids Pong will kick off the games at 4 p.m. Deck 52 will Rock the Walk beginning at 7, and everyone is invited to join the CocoWalk musical celebration following the 9 o'clock fireworks in Peacock Park.

Key Biscayne Fourth of July Parade- July 4

The parade will start at 11 a.m. with a flyover of jets, and proceed south on Crandon Boulevard from Harbor Drive to West Enid. There will be patriotically themed professional floats, other personally decorated and creative entries in the lineup and the marching groups. See and hear the bands, and special entertainment from unique performers in our hometown parade.

Old Fashion Fourth of July Picnic- July 4

Kids can make their own kites, toy boats, and paper dolls in order to understand how different children's lives were a hundred years ago. Prizes are awarded to those kids that complete a historical scavenger hunt. Bring your own picnic or buy burgers, hot dogs, and veggie dogs here. 11-4 p.m.

GroveHouse Artists is pleased to announce its annual General Membership and Plein Air Exhibit displayed throughout the historic homes of the Deering Estate at Cutler. Opening: Wednesday, June 20th from 7 to 9 p.m. Free admission to the estate for the opening
