Orchestra Miami presents the holiday classic Amahl and the Night Visitors (Amahl y los reyes magos) by Gian Carlo Menotti. This beautiful opera combines gorgeous vocal lines and lush symphonic accompaniment with a simple, touching story which reminds us about the true meaning of Christmas. The story focuses on a young crippled boy, Amahl, and his mother, who welcome some very unexpected visitors into their home- the Three Kings- who are on their way to bring gifts to the Child. Orchestra Miami: Beethoven on the Beach- May 19th

Orchestra Miami concludes its series of Free Outdoor Concerts, with "Beethoven on the Beach", a celebration of the lives of heroic men. This concert is presented as a gift to the community, and is completely free of charge. The program includes Mozart's "Overture to the Magic Flute", Lee Hoiby's "I Have a Dream" featuring Graham Fandrei as the baritone soloist, and Beethoven's iconic Symphony #5 in c minor, Op. 67. All three performances will be conducted by Orchestra Miami's Artistic Director, Elaine Rinaldi. 7 p.m. Address:
