Deering Holiday Wonderland- until December 31, 2013

Visitors can tour the elegant and historic houses of the Deering Estate as they come alive with holiday accents and decorations, created by local garden clubs and community organizations. Guests can explore the beautifully landscaped main grounds and historic buildings at leisure, or enjoy a guided house tour of the estate. Historic House Tours are held daily at 10:30 am & 3:00 pm. The Natural Areas Tour is held daily at 12:30 pm. Guided Tours are Free with Estate admission.

New Year's Eve in Miami- December 31, 2012

There will also be a New Year's Eve celebration at Bayfront Park at 8p-12a--

the largest FREE party in South

Florida! There will be a Dance Party with Tony the Hitman and count down to midnight with Miami's own, "La Gran Naranja" (formerly The Big Orange)! At the south end of the park, this New Year’s Eve icon will slowly ascend the side of the InterContinental Hotel, reaching the top at midnight in 

conjunction with a grand display of fireworks shot over beautiful Biscayne Bay.

Candy Cane Village at Peacock Park- December 21-23, 2012

Kick off the holiday season and enjoy some of your favorite holiday music performed by the'Little Twinklers' from the GMYS Preparatory program and the Yuletide Carolers! Children can also participate in the lighting of the tree in the historic Stone House Ballroom.
